Born: May 15,1910 in Manorville, PA

Parents: Harvey Heilman & Ida Bailey Heilman

Education:  Graduated from Ford City High School
Class of 1928
Graduated from a business college in Pittsburgh

Work history: First job was at the Machine Shop in Ford City At various times, she worked for attorneys,
Worked at the Armstrong County Court House, and worked for the Dept. of Public Assistance for 15 years.

Personal History: Married Charles Rupert (Dr. Ted Rupert) on June 7, 1933 They were married 65 years until his death in 1998. She volunteered at Ford City Public Library for many years. Was an active member of Ford Memorial Methodist Church for many years and enjoyed singing in the choir & directing the Jr. Choir.

She and her husband moved to Desert Hot Springs, CA in 1994. She still lives in her own home there.  Her favorite past time is playing cards and some board games.

Family: In addition to her daughter, Janice, and son-in-law (Ernest Fontaine), she has one grandson And three great grandchildren.
